In May 2005, M-TAG Australia and UK became part of IMS Health. The M-TAG team in Australia is now known as IMS Pricing & Market Access (P&MA) and is part of the broader evidence-based consulting team at IMS.
The P&MA team provides health economics and outcomes research solutions for Australian and regional clients. We deliver evidence-based consulting solutions that enables confident decision-making relating to pricing and market access issues. The P&MA team has strong links with IMS’s global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) teams. Collaboration with our global HEOR colleagues ensures that we remain on the cutting edge of research method technologies and provides access to a worldwide network of expertise, knowledge and information sources. IMS’s aim is to add value to its rich data assets by building a strong consulting and services capability. Our position as a market leader in the reimbursement, pricing and market access environment in Australia is strengthened by access to the power of IMS health data. Combining our evidence-based approach with these data means that we are in a stronger position to deliver better solutions to improve clients' market position.
